I have been asked by Bike Delaware to participate in the virtual bicycle conference 'Desgning Delware Intersections for People', which will take place on November 19, 2020. Collaborating with Dutch experts from Mobycon and Bikeminded we will be exploring safe - but still humanized - intersections options. Very cool topic; both holistic and specific. I will be presenting about the so called 'Dutch Left' intersection, which slows car traffic, maintains road hierarchy and provides safer crossing options for bicycles and pedestrians. I will even draft a conceptual design on an actual location in New Castle, Delaware.
